work in progress...
it may not look spectacular but it's a start!
monday was the first day of the blogging your way e-course, which was fabulously exciting but quite overwhelming!
to calm my nerves nothing more than stationery splurge at Muji would suffice!
i love the palette of colours used and the emphasis on function but not at the expense of design.
i customised the notebooks with homemade sticky paper graph labels (surprisingly easy...downloaded a graph paper template onto a label sheet, wrote the days of the week in word and pressed print!)
the diary in the foreground was a treat to myself: a laurel denise planner which I have been too scared to write in because it is so beautiful!
i now use it to help me plan a blog posting schedule and to jot down ideas for future posts.
the e-course is giving me plenty of food for thought and i can already see how totally beneficial it will be for me and this blog. I will keep you posted!

simple bliss...
... a brother, a tree and imagination!
i truly believe that the blogging world has (and continues to) save my sanity!
blogs appeared in my life at a time of huge change in my personal circumstances.
my magazine purchasing ( addiction?) ceased and blogs were my infinitely more fulfilling, more rewarding substitute.
that was two years ago and I have long aspired to join the blogging community, but fear of failure has held me back.
the following quote has "hung around" with me for longer than I care to remember:
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom"
today is the day.
love dawn
